The Fargo single-sided C30e printer is all about simple, reliable and affordable card printing. The Fargo 54400 printer is loaded with built-in versatility, and is ready to adapt to your future needs.

Note: The Fargo single-sided C30e printer (Fargo 54400) is the new, enhanced version of the best-selling Fargo C30 printer. The Fargo 54400 directly replaces Fargo 44400, as well as its various configurations.

Need a complete Fargo C30e system?

It's never been so versatile. The new generation Fargo single-sided C30e printers feature color printing enhancements that provide true-to-life photos, and sharp text and images. The Fargo single-sided C30e printer is additionally ready to print on a wide range of card stocks, including:

• Thin cards These are increasingly popular for membership and loyalty programs, mass transit systems and health care facilities. Thin cards are flexible and lightweight, and therefore easy to mail.
• Rewritable cards Do you use cards on a short-term basis and then have to throw them out? The single-sided Fargo C30e printer can help eliminate this waste. Special heat-sensitive cards are erased and printed using the heating element of the Fargo single-sided C30e printer's printhead. No ribbon is necessary for rewritable card printing!
• Technology cards Contact or contactless smart cards, proximity or magnetic stripe cards can be used for access control, debit transactions or other applications in addition to photo ID.
• Fargo holographic foil cards A complete line of Fargo security cards are available that offer a cost-effective solution to adding visual security elements to your ID cards—without the need for lamination equipment. Fargo holographic foil cards can help you put the security of your cards out of reach to ID counterfeiters.

Forget the hassle. The Fargo single-sided C30e printer uses an easy-loading, all-in-one ribbon cartridge that saves time and eliminates the aggravation and expense of torn, wasted ribbons. Simply open the front panel, slide in the ribbon cartridge and close the panel! And since the card cleaning roller is part of the Fargo 54400 printer's ribbon cartridge, it is automatically changed every time the ribbon is changed, removing potentially damaging dust and debris from your cards.

One side or two? The Fargo single-sided C30e printer is also available in a duplex (two-sided) printing version. If you only need cards printed on one side, choose the compact, Fargo single-sided C30e printer (this page). But if you want the flexibility to double the printable area of your cards (e.g., for displaying a larger photo on the front, and a barcode or other information on the back), take a look at the Fargo duplex C30e printer.

Choose your interface and encoding capabilities. The Fargo 54400 can be ordered ready for Ethernet so that you can share your card personalization application over your network. You may also choose to add magnetic stripe or smart card encoding to create multi-functional ID cards.
