DISCONTINUED Magicard Prima 3 In-Line Lamination Unit Description

The single-sided Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit (ILU) is a compact laminating solution that delivers outstanding results in all possible options—from using thin holographic film to patches in various thicknesses. This unit is designed to exclusively operate in conjunction with the Magicard Prima 3 line of reverse transfer printers.

State-of-the-art portrait mode lamination. Unlike other card laminators, the Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit laminates in portrait mode, allowing it to reach impressive speeds of 20-35 seconds per card. Lamination material can be purchased in clear, and standard or custom holographics.

Easy installation and media loading. Connecting the Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit to a Prima 3 printer is very easy. Simply attach the provided joining plate to the printer unit, position the lamination unit on the joining plate, and plug the communication cable in. Loading the lamination rolls is also extremely user-friendly. The rolls are front-loaded, similar to all Magicard Prima 3 printers.

User-adjustable settings. The Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit is also user-programmable. The perfect temperature and speed settings can be adjusted via the front panel display. This unique feature allows the use of all card materials, including PVC, PVH, ABS, 100% PET and Polycarbonate.

Laminate both sides of your cards. When the Magicard Prima 3 in-line lamination unit is used with the optional Magicard Prima 3 Turnover Unit, you have the ability to laminate both sides of your cards. By using two Magicard Prima 3 in-line laminators and a turnover unit, you can laminate both sides of your cards with different types of laminates. No matter which way you choose, you'll receive superb results.
