Datacard's new SP Plus series features faster print speeds, spectacular warranty plans and endless options to suit the needs of your card application.
In particular, the Datacard SP55 Plus delivers fast performance, high quality cards and optional print capabilities to energize card programs. The powerful SP55 Plus printer offers features to meet your current requirements and the flexibility to keep pace with changes in your card program.
Compact and lightweight. The Datacard SP55 Plus printer's sleek design allows users to work effectively in small work areas or to easily transport it to other facilities, tradeshows or conventions.
Ease-of-use and affordability. Datacard integrated the power and functionality of a professional grade card printer with the plug-and-play simplicity of a desktop card printer. The result is a breakthrough in technology with the Datacard SP55 Plus. The versatile SP55 Plus card printer is advanced enough to meet the demands of high profile security programs, yet easy and affordable enough for enterprises launching their first card programs. Enjoy high quality edge-to-edge printing, fast card production and quick-change 'intelligent' supplies. In addition, the Datacard SP55 Plus's Smart Driver printer driver provides easy-to-understand onscreen message prompts, image previews and online help.
Versatility for secure card personalization. Smart card, magnetic stripe, barcode and proximity options make it easy to create and issue multi-technology cards with the Datacard SP55 Plus. These advanced technology features provide authorized users with secure access to facilities, networks and other privileges.
Options, options and more options. The SP55 Plus printer provides the capabilities that you need now AND down the road as your needs evolve. Select from an array of options including single side or duplex printing, full color and monochrome or monochrome only printing, extra large input and output hoppers, and/or an input hopper lock to secure your card stock. A Kensington lock can also be added to secure your SP55 Plus card printer to its workstation desktop. In addition, an Ethernet interface is a great feature to add for the ability to print cards anywhere; large, multi-faceted organizations including hospitals, corporations and universities may benefit from this.
