HID Identity Announces the Release of Asure ID 2009
Security innovator HID Identity recently announced the release of Asure ID 2009, their latest generation of photo ID card personalization software. The biggest improvement that the new 2009 editions offer is the greatly improved user interface, which is based on the Microsoft® Ribbon found in Office 2007. The ribbon format, along with features like tabbed navigation, and the WYSIWYG display make it easy to navigate and create personalized ID cards no matter what your skill level.
Asure ID 2009 Interface
Like most photo ID software, Asure ID 2009 is available in a series of upgradeable editions, with features and functionality being added as the editions progress. Here are some highlights of the features in the four Asure ID 2009 editions:
- Solo – Intuitive, fast, basic card personalization with an internal Microsoft Access™ database.
- Express – Connects to external Microsoft databases and lets you add compound data fields, create print and design rules, and batch print.
- Enterprise – Gives you more database options, supports ODBC import and export, allows networking, and can work with tables.
- Exchange – Is for sophisticated secure applications needing advanced database support. It also includes an encoding module that helps you manage smart card applications.
