HoloKote Flex—Another Option in Card Security from Magicard
With the introduction of HoloKote Flex, Magicard now offers another option in photo ID card protection. Magicard HoloKote is an anti-counterfeiting custom watermark that was previously only available in a fixed 6×4 overlay grid design (with the same image repeated across the card 6 times x 4 times). The new HoloKote Flex allows you to add a single custom watermark of any size and choose its location anywhere on the card.
HoloKote Flex is available with Magicard Rio 2e, Tango 2e, and Tango +L printers, and once your custom design has been encrypted on the HoloKote Flex Custom Key, you simply plug the key into your printer to access the watermark. It can then be printed on your photo ID cards using a standard ribbon.
For Magicard printer owners who would like to protect their photo ID cards from unauthorized duplication, but don’t want to incur the costs of holographic laminates, HoloKote Flex is a secure solution.
