Shades of Spring

This lanyard is full of color. I used fresh water pearls, sterling and swarovski crystals. I wanted to create a spring feel when wearing this piece, keeping it functional yet beautiful. I used two shades of pearls along with lavender crystals. I incorporated sterling spacers throughout and added a sterling bird charm accented with a delica seed bead. The clasp is sterling and easy to wear. The yellow jade flowers are accented with small silver tone leaves.

This lanyard is made of all sorts of magnificent beads. It is lined in gorgeous blue and green glass beads. In the middle you see a large section of blue Azure beach glass. There are two blue god's eyes on each side for protection. Since my lanyard name is Life is A Beach I have included a couple silver suns and a few bronze flip flops to accent my beautiful beads. I added a few crystal beads to give it that sparkle like the ocean does when the sun hits the water.

This lanyard is made of lightweight and strong aluminum rings connected with colorful rubber rings. The large rings are 14 g 3/8 inches in two colors, the small rings are 16g 1/4 inches. All the connector rubber rings are 12 mm. This beginner project requires one skill - ability to open and close rings and two pairs of pliers. Mine has a swivel clasp since it travels the world with me on cruise ships but any holder can be added to the double rings in the center.

Don't wear the blue-shoe-string-of ugly. Instead, wear something that's as stylish as your outfit. This lanyard is 35 in. long and made with 7-Strand Nylon Coated Wire, beads (pewter, plastic, stone and Czech glass) and a magnetic clasp. The magnetic clasp adds a break away feature in case the lanyard gets caught on something, it won't break as easily and it's an added safety feature so you won't get caught with the lanyard.






Yin Yang in Blue

The outer circle of the Yin Yang represents the universe, while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies within the universe - Yin (black) and Yang (white). Yin is not completely black nor is Yang completely white, just as things in life are not completely black or completely white. Yin cannot exist without Yang. This lanyard combines the beauty of cloisonne art Yin Yang beads and blue/black Czech faceted glass beads. 34 in. total length and is strung on 0.8mm elastic cord.






Never Ending Rainbow

This is from my Rainbow collection of lanyards and necklaces. Three circle rings momentarily embrace the colors of the rainbow and then send them on their way. The color is never ending as it flows around the circles and back. Wearing this as a double necklace enhances the colors and displays the many layers of the rainbow. Clip your badge holder to the circle during work hours and unclip it for after work fun. The full un-doubled length is 62 inches, by doubling it you can make it any length you want.

This beautiful lanyard is made of clear AB Miyuki seed beads, Czech Fire Polished faceted crystals, and Swarovski Crystal faceted AB rounds with Swarovski Crystal rondelles. Silver focal and spacer beads along with a gorgeous silver butterfly connector compliment my original design. Lanyard is a continuous 36 in. in length. I use a very sturdy yet flexible 19 strand Beadalon wire with multiple crimp beads to keep the lanyard tight and breakage resistant.

Spring has sprung with this whimsy inspired design. This lanyard was a gift made for pediatric nurses. Each flower was created by threading 4 pieces - two plastic flowers, one bead cap and a 6mm Swarovski crystal together. Chartreuse green seed beads created a growing on the vine look. Tierra Cast metal flower beads add a little charm. The lanyard is finished with tulip blooms using 8mm Swarovski crystals. This piece was finished using a magnetic clasp.

These eyeglass lanyards are made from repurposed jewlery findings and hand rolled, recycled paper beads. I find vintage jewlery pieces, take them apart and incorporate them into new pieces. I also add in paperbeads that I hand roll and cut, one at a time, then hand seal with a non-toxic sealant. These lanyards can be functional to hold any kind of glass or simply worn alone as a unique, custon, one of a kind necklace.

To design this lanyard I used 4mm bicones, 6mm and 8mm facet crystal clear round beads and as a accent I added 2mm, 4mm and 6mm silver plate round metal beads. The crystal facet heart measures 20mm it has a AB finish, that sparkles when it moves.

This badgeholder was made as a gift to a very special Social Worker at Oakland Children's Hospital who did so much for me and my family when my oldest son passed away suddenly from a mysterious cancer. The chain is made from two of my own orignal beadweaving designs, Flutterbies and Garland Rope. This design includes seed beads, Swarovski bicone crystals and a handmade polymer clay bendant with my son's name engraved on the reverse.
