What are the main features and benefits of the Magicard Enduro?

Magicard Enduro printers are designed to be easy for anyone to use and their small footprint makes it easy to fit them on any desktop. Designed for low to mid volume card printing applications, Enduro printers are ideal for printing visitor and employee badges, membership cards, loyalty cards, student ID cards and more.

The Enduro comes equiped with Magicard's exclusive HoloKote technology, a transparent watermarking feature that is added during the regular printing process without any extra cost per print. The Enduro also offers a drop-in duplex printing upgrade kit that is simply a special roll of YMCKOK ribbon recognized by the Enduro to instantly enable two-sided printing.

Enduro card printers offer a number of other user-friendly features, including:

Should I choose the single-sided Enduro or the dual-sided Enduro?

It depends on how much information you need to put on your cards. For example, if you will only be placing the cardholder's photo and name on your cards, the single-sided Enduro may be ideal for you. However, if you need to place more information on your cards, we recommend the dual-sided Enduro so that you can print to both sides of the card in one, simple process.

If you need duplex printing capability in the future, the Magicard Enduro can quickly and easily be upgraded with a simple drop-in dual-sided printing upgrade kit! The upgrade includes a special roll of YMCKOK film that is recognized by your Magicard Enduro printer to instantly enable two-sided card printing. This industry-first upgrade technology requires no additional hardware or tools; just drop in the kit and your printer will do the rest!

If you will be creating ID cards with limited cardholder information, choose the single-sided Magicard Enduro+.

If you will be printing more information on your cards and want the ability to print on both sides of the card, choose the dual-sided Magicard Enduro+.

What is HoloKote technology?

HoloKote is an exclusive feature available only from Magicard. It allows you to print a watermark on your cards with your Magicard Enduro printer without any added costs. The watermark is printed during the normal card printing cycle using the O panel of a standard color ribbon; there is no need to purchase expensive holographic lamination! The HoloKote watermark becomes visible when the card is viewed at an angle and can be easily enabled or disabled in your printer driver.

When using the HoloKote option in the Enduro printer, one of the four following standard patterns is printed repeatedly across your card: waves, keys, globes, or interlocking squares. When HoloKote is used along with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one area of the watermark becomes a high-visibility security seal with an appearance similar to a holographic patch, at a fraction of the cost.
