Badge Clips |
Unbeatable Pricing on an Extensive ID Badge Clip Stock
ID badge clips (sometimes called strap clips) offer one way to help you attach your ID badge to a lanyard or equipment. Badge clips come in a variety of styles, colors and prices.
What are the differences between these ID badge clips?
- Mylar badge clips feature high strength and heat resistant properties. They have the least amount of stretch and retain their shape under stress. Mylar badge clips would be the ideal choice in an application that requires little or no stretch, and resistance to heat.
- Nylon badge clips are strong, silky-smooth, colorfast and wear resistant. Nylon is the material of choice in applications where both stretch and chemical resistance is needed, in addition to a silk-like feel.
- Colored and clear vinyl badge clips combine some of the properties of both mylar and nylon badge clip materials at a reduced cost. They feature the soft feel of nylon with the use of plasticizer. For most applications, vinyl badge clips would be the preferred material since the various formulations can approach the properties of mylar and nylon at a price that sits in the middle of two functional products.
- Plastic badge clips are more rigid and less flexible, and are perfect for applications in which no or few metal parts are preferred.
- Slot-free card clips are the perfect badge attachments to use when you prefer not to punch slot holes in your cards, especially proximity or smart cards with electronics inside that could get damaged by slot punching.
