EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit (ILU) - Single-Sided Description
The EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit (ILU) is for use with the EDIsecure DCP 360i professional direct card printer and all of the EDIsecure XID 5xxi/ie reverse transfer (re-transfer) card printers.
Users laminate printed ID cards to increase visual card security and to protect the surface of the card from physical damage.
The EDIsecure ILU is the latest technology to cater to the increasing demand of inline lamination needs.
Speed and ease-of-use. The state-of-the-art portrait mode card path of the EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit allows you to achieve impressive lamination speeds of 20 seconds per single-sided card. The front-loading of lamination media is easy for even the novice operator, and similar to any supplies loading of the EDIsecure re-transfer printers. Connection of the laminator to an EDIsecure printer is also just as simple: attach the unit joining plate to the printer unit, position the ILU on the joining plate, and then plug in the communication cable!
Superior lamination quality. The EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit delivers outstanding lamination results in all possible options—from using thin holographic film or patches in various thicknesses. The EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit is also user-programmable. The perfect temperature and speed settings can be adjusted via the front panel display. This unique feature allows for superb results with a variety of card materials, including PVC, composite PVC, ABS, and even Polycarbonate.
Easy of lamination of both sides of your cards. When the EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit is used with the optional EDIsecure Turnover Unit, you have the ability to laminate both sides of your cards. By using two EDIsecure Inline Laminators a turnover unit, you can laminate both sides of your cards with different types of laminates. No matter which way you choose, you'll receive superb results.
