I have ordered two of these printers for correctional facilities making ID badges for offenders. This is a great printer and worth every dime spent. The customer service you get from IDWholesaler is second to none!!

We started issuing id cards to all of our campers and staff this year. Being a not-for-profit Camp we wanted to find an economical yet quality id maker to print 1000+ cards over a 9 week period. We wanted the software to be user friendly and quick to use, yet let us have versatility in card design. We found all of thisin the DTC 500, with Asure ID software. After setting up the card templates, I can leave the id making to volunteers wit no id experience. We experienced some software compatibility issues when we first received it, but idWholesalers Tech staff quickly solved those problems. We have found the ink ribbons last as long or longer than the stated number of cards. This Machine has been great.

I purchased this printer in Dec 2005. We use our badge making printer all day long. Over 8000 cards have passed through our machine. There's been over 40,000 card pass counts of use.
We have experienced little issues with our printer. We replaced the printer head in Sept. 08. May of '09, we are looking at replacing some driver belts, an inexpensive cost. The color ribbons work really well and the two hoppers allows use flexibility with our two types of cards. I recommend this printer for heavy users. I have been in the badge making business for 28 years. This is a reliable printer in my book. My ID Wholesaler Sales Rep and their Technical Support provide superb service. I do not regret my decision to switch to ID Wholesaler in 2005. Thanks to your staff, their advice in choosing what I need, and their reliable support!
