Good Job for such a low cost, 5/5/2009

The printed cards look great and are very durable. I had some trouble getting the drivers to work all the time but eventually I got everything working. I did have a lot of jamming issues and called the tech support, they figured out the problem in only few minutes and sent me not only a replacement part (a small belt) but also an additional ribbon to make up for the ribbon which jammed.

We have used our Magicard Opera Printer excessively, and certainly pushed it to its limits. Having said this, the printer has been surprisingly cooperative, and compared to other card printing systems, it has proven to be a highly cost-effective solution for our card printing needs, having provided us with at least 2 years of consistent use. It is now considerably nosier than when we first bought it, and is rather temperamental when it comes to actually printing cards.
