The NFive FaceSnap upgrade is a plug-in to CardFive, CardFive Vision and DeskFive software. This plug–in may be added via a remote license loader (RLL). (You will receive an .exe file via email that will add this plug-in to your CardFive, CardFive Vision or DeskFive software after your purchase from ID Wholesaler.)
Users must have a current version of CardFive, CardFive Vision or DeskFive software.
NFive FaceSnap automatically identifies a face on a picture, crops the face out of the scene and improves image quality while working in conjunction with CardFive, CardFive Vision or DeskFive software. NFive FaceSnap is very useful when performing large video badging projects.
By using artificial intelligence applied to computer vision, NFive FaceSnap recognizes faces in a scenario, locates them and cuts them plus 10% of the surrounding area, producing a perfect photo for your ID badges.
Note: FaceSnap works by pattern recognition and has been programmed to recognize faces. In some countries (e.g., countries within the continent of Africa), the system may need further training. In those cases, the plug-in allows the user to manually select the face via:
clicking on the center of the face, or
forcing the crop by clicking and dragging from the center of the face to define a circle.
