INTERNET MARKETING SPECIALIST – CONTENT CREATION & GRAPHICS PRODUCTION

Plasco Inc. is seeking a full-time Content & Graphics Specialist to join our Minneapolis marketing team. The Content & Graphics Specialist will contribute to a variety of marketing activities centered on creating compelling content and quality graphics. In this role, you will be working with the Senior Content Specialist and should have a proven track record of writing SEO-oriented content and creating unique, supporting graphics.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Marketing, eCommerce communications, or related business discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in online content development, using SEO principles and best-practices
  • A mind for marketing, a talent for writing compelling content, and an eye for design
  • Intermediate to advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Intermediate HTML skills
  • Experience working with large data sets in spreadsheets
  • Ability to move quickly and independently while juggling multiple projects
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to perform

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Be an expert in content development and on-page SEO
  • Understand our brands and our products, to be an effective brand champion and product marketer
  • Write compelling, world-class content that is engaging, customer-focused, search engine optimized, and brand appropriate
  • Voice your recommendations, based on your expertise, for content development and SEO improvements and working with the marketing and web dev teams to implement
  • Participate in the process of designing, writing, and distributing various types of high-quality, targeted content
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources as needed to implement digital content and printed collateral
  • Actively use BrightEdge SEO software to facilitate SEO updates for your areas of responsibility or as assigned
  • Use intermediate to advanced Adobe Photoshop skills to take a leading role in creating imagery and graphics for use in digital and/or offline collateral
  • Continually expand your proficiency in digital marketing disciplines, such as ecommerce, UI/UX, onsite merchandising, HTML, SEM, marketing automation, A/B testing, technical SEO, and more
  • Be a team player with the ability to work independently
  • Communicate, organize, prioritize, and participate
  • Voraciously read a variety of digital marketing resource websites and blogs and attend annual marketing conferences, with the goal of being a well-rounded digital marketing professional
