Do I Need ID Card Printer or Software Training?

ID Card Printer TrainingIt's a question almost everyone asks when they're buying a new ID printer. The answer depends on how comfortable you are with setting up your ID system and how much time you have to learn how to use the new card design software. Training can be used for every aspect of getting your ID system set up, including:
  • Installing the printer, drivers, camera and software
  • Learning how to use the design software
  • Learning how to import pictures and variable information
  • Designing your first card template
  • Learning how to change the driver settings in the printer
Are you an IT director who will be setting the machine up for others to use? While you may want to sit in on the training session, training is recommended for those that will be using the machine on a daily basis. With this, you will not be bombarded with questions on how to set up a template and use the printer/software every time someone tries to print a card. A couple of the benefits of the phone/web-based training are:
  • More than one person can be trained at a time
  • We can gain remote access to your computer to be able to show you exactly how everything works as if we are sitting in the room with you.
Most people would much rather take an hour or two out of their day to sit and talk with our techs than to risk the headache of not being able to figure everything out on their own in a timely manner.  Training costs $150/hr, but the peace of mind knowing you have been trained by a professional and had all of your questions answered is priceless.
