There are many options available to quickly and easily identify temporary employees from full-time employees. Your first instinct will be to look at colored PVC cards, which may be a good option depending on what is printed on the card.
Keep in mind that full-color images will not appear on a dark green card the way they do on a white card, and might actually make it more difficult for you to identify the person.
The easiest no-cost way to accomplish this goal would be to set a conditionally displayed background color, image, or text within your card template. This will automate the process for your badge operators so that when a "temporary” employee is entered it will automatically change the background to red or add a special image.

To further strengthen your card program pre-printed lanyards can be purchased, as well as color-coded badge holders (see example at right). For enhanced security, try using an expiring tag on the cards as well to eliminate unauthorized access when contracts have expired.
