With HoloKote Flex, Magicard offers another option in photo ID card protection. Magicard HoloKote is an anti-counterfeiting custom watermark that was previously only available in a fixed 6×4 overlay grid design (with the same image repeated across the card 6 times x 4 times).
HoloKote Flex allows you to add a single custom watermark of any size and choose its location anywhere on the card:
Standard: 6 x 4 grid of a single watermark image repeated across the entire surface of the ID card
Custom: A watermark image of any size printed on the surface of the ID card
HoloKote Flex is available with following Magicard printers:
Magicard HoloKote Custom FLEX Key is a unique anti-counterfeit feature that allows you to print a customized watermark graphic on the surface of your cards, with the size and location of your choosing. Your custom image is encrypted and electronically stored onto a Custom Key memory card so that duplication of your image is not possible. The Custom Key is also available with a printer lock feature so that your Rio Pro card printer can only be used when the key is inserted.
Once your custom design has been encrypted on the HoloKote Flex Custom Key, you simply plug the key into your printer to access the watermark. It can then be printed on your photo ID cards using a standard ribbon.For Magicard printer owners who would like to protect their photo ID cards from unauthorized duplication, but don’t want to incur the costs of holographic laminates, HoloKote Flex is a secure solution.
