HID 1437 MIFARE 1K and proximity combo composite PVC-PET cards are created with MIFARE high-security 13.56MHz contactless technology, HID dependable 125kHz proximity technology, and the ability to store up to 1 kilobyte of data. The versatility of the HID 1437 MIFARE and prox cards allows for organizations to integrate both contactless and contact readers in their security arsenal. Regardless of which type of reader you choose, sensitive information is kept safe with the use of encryption keys. Credentials will not be emitted until the HID 1437 card and reader mutually authenticate each other. The data inside the HID 1437 MIFARE and proximity combo is also compartmentalized, so you can conveniently store several types of applications on just one card.
Zip through transactions thanks to the HID 1437 fast process speed of less than 100 milliseconds. At the size of a standard credit card, the 13.56MHz contactless and 125kHz prox composite PVC-PET card can even be used inside a purse or wallet.
Made of a durable composite of 60% PVC and 40% PET, the HID 1437 cards are more resistant to heat compared to standard PVC cards, and therefore are recommended to print custom graphics, text, or barcodes with laminating and retransfer printers, as standard PVC cards may warp from the intense heat used in both of these processes.
