The versatility of the HID 1447 MIFARE and prox cards allows for organizations to integrate both contactless and contact readers in their security arsenal. Regardless of which type of reader you choose, sensitive information is kept safe with the use of encryption keys. Credentials will not be emitted until the HID 1447 card and reader mutually authenticate each other.
