HID OMNIKEY 5022 R50220318-DB Smart Card Reader - Dark Blue

The OMNIKEY® 5022 from HID Global is a 13.56MHz contactless smart card reader that offers secure authentication and converged access to physical and IT resources, suitable for standard PCs and workstations, network, or cloud applications (fat, thin, or zero clients). Compact in size and dark blue in color, the R50220318-DB reader is fast, easy to install, and provides advanced security and seamless access management for healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial, enterprise, government and other applications. The reader is interoperable with a number of smart card technologies, tags, and NFC-enabled smart devices, and supports credentials such as iCLASS®, Seos® one-time password (OTP), DESFire®, and MIFARE®. Expanding the usage of existing physical access cards, the reader facilitates computer log-on, network and cloud access, email encryption and more.

The OMNIKEY® 5022 R50220318-DB supports a broad range of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and Android) and works with existing, native-supported CCID drivers - eliminating the need to install an additional drive. With its small footprint, versatility, and range of capabilities, the OMNIKEY® 5022 is a smart choice particularly useful for mobile workstations and space-restricted settings that require two-factor authentication. Part of HID Global's ActivID® Tap™ Authentication solution, the OMNIKEY® 5022 enhances the user experience while increasing security, as users can simply tap a card to a device to automatically generate an OTP for secure login. The reader is integrated and tested with the ActivID Tap solution, ActivID ActivClient, ActivID Applets and HID Trusted Tag® Services.
