chromXpert color ribbons offer vibrant printing with up to 16.7 million colors, including Yellow (Y), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), and thermal transfer Black (K) panels for sharp text and barcode printing. When paired with MC DTC series direct-to-card printers, an overlay panel (O) ensures durability and protection. For retransfer printing, Y, M, C, and K panels are applied to a clear film before transferring onto various card surfaces, including PVC, PET, and smart cards. Direct-to-card ribbons are ideal for PVC and PVC composite cards, while Unichroma ribbons are recommended for polycarbonate cards, offering compatibility with laser engraving and direct-to-card printing.
