TheEDIsecure XID 570ie is a reverse transfer printer that allows you to produce secure and highly durable two-sided cards. The EDIsecure XID 570ie duplex card printer is just one in a complete line of reverse transfer printers offered by Digital Identification Solutions, and can easily be upgraded as your needs grow. For example, you can upgrade at any time for high speed duplex printing (EDIsecure XID 580ie), or high speed duplex printing with the ability to connect up to seven printers on one server for high volume card production (EDIsecure XID 590ie). You also have the opportunity to add magnetic stripe encoding any time you need it.

• Intuitive interface
  Despite its high performance, theEDIsecure XID 570ie retransfer printer is easy to operate. The powerfully-developed printer driver of the EDIsecure XID 570ie duplex card printer come with a user-friendly graphical user interface, providing alerts when errors occur, and ribbon and card level monitoring via the Media Status Monitor. Plus, theEDIsecure XID 570ie's Admin Center software allows for convenient handling of printer settings for every card type. TheEDIsecure XID 570ie card printer features a smart LCD display that provides printer status information. Spools of the standard color ribbon (YMCK) and re-transfer film can print up to 1,000 single-sided cards before requiring replacement, and replacement is simplified by the use of color-coded cartridges.


• Easy card handling
  Blank card stock is loaded into a pull-out drawer that can accommodate 300 standard 30mil CR80 cards. Cards can be added to the drawer while the printer is printing. Different card thicknesses can be accommodated with a quick change using the thickness selector built into the card supply drawer. Additional card drawers are available for customers that frequently alternate between card types. Plus, theEDIsecure XID 570ie retransfer printer offers convenient front access for ribbon and card supplies loading.

  TheEDIsecure XID 570ie retransfer printer technology produces a glossy photo finish quality and makes it possible to print onto a variety of card materials, including cards made of PVH, ABS, PET and polycarbonate.

  The 570ie is network-ready with a built-in Ethernet port that allows for safe, encrypted data transfers with Digital ID's exclusive IPSEC security.


• Optional encoding
  Access rights, time and attendance, debit transactions and countless other functions can all be combines on one card, using different technologies. Whatever the application - barcode printing, magnetic stripe and/or smart card encoding - theEDIsecure XID 570ie retransfer printer prints and encodes in a single step. Plus, chip encoding is now as easy as magnetic stripe encoding with Digital ID's Advanced Chip Encoding Framework (CEF). This toolkit provides integration of multiple encoding technologies through one easy-to-use plug-in.


• Optional laminatino
  The EDIsecure Inline Lamination Unit option will increase visual security and protect your cards from everyday use and exposure. An array of laminate materials are available to you, based on your needs. Digital ID provides overlaminates with varying thicknesses, in clear or holographic, plus overlaminates can be customized with the details that your require.
