Double Up: Print the Same Info on Both Sides of Your ID Badge

If you wear your ID badges on a lanyard or a badge reel, you probably find that your badge often flips to the back. This can pose a security risk or simply a nuisance of continually making sure your photo ID is visible.

There’s a simple solution for this: print the same information on both sides of your card. With this, no matter which side of the card is exposed, your ID will be easily viewed.

If you choose to print on both sides of the card, it is recommended that you use a dual-sided printer (a card printer that will print on both sides of the card in one pass). You can manually flip your card over to print on the back, but it’s not the ideal method. Single sided card printers were not designed for this type of use, and you run the risk of early print head failure or experiencing poor print quality. When running the card through twice you are exposing the print head to extra dust and debris, as well as the oils from your finger tips. Damage to a print head from non-standard use will void any warranty coverage.
