Those needing an entry-level, low-volume ID card printer can turn to the lightweight Zebra ZXP Series 1 card printer, the most compact printer in the Zebra line-up. It's constructed with durable plastics and advanced electronics, all at an affordable price. The ZXP Series 1 as it is equipped to print full-color or monochrome 10-40 mil thick cards with a single-card or a multi-card feeder.
The 2nd generation Zebra ZXP Series 3 card printer features an updated sleek, black exterior and a number of enhanced features. Earth-conscious organizations will appreciate the edition's high capacity, eco-friendly ribbons.
The eco-friendly ribbons are compatible with 1st generation ZXP Series 3 printers, but a firmware and driver update is required. Likewise, the old ribbons are compatible with the new firmware and driver. The ZXP Series 3 also has improved monochrome print quality and expanded card support for 10-40 mil thick cards (the original edition supported 30-mil only).
