IDWholesaler.com Secure From Heartbleed Security Bug

Earlier this week, a security flaw in OpenSSL was announced. OpenSSL is a popular data encryption standard. The flaw gives hackers who know about it the ability to extract massive amount of data from the services that we use every day and assume are mostly secure. This isn't a bug in an app that can quickly be updated, rather, it is a vulnerability on the machines that power services that transmit secure information, such as Gmail or Facebook. Edit PasswordRest assured, we have confirmed that our store and it's related infrastructure have not been affected by this vulnerabilty. We do, however, encourage you to change the password on your ID Wholesaler account as a safety measure, in the event that you use the same password(s) on other potentially vulnerable sites. Although ID Wholesaler does not use OpenSSL 1.0.1, the version affected by this security flaw, we have updated our SSl certificates as a precaution. See the IDWholesaler.com "Heartbleed Test". (Hint: you may use this tool to test other sites for which you may want to revise your password!) To change the password on your ID Wholesaler account, simply login to your account from the "Account Login" link in the upper left at the top of this page, then select "Edit Account" and update your password. That's all there is to it! As always, if you have any questions, please call us at (800) 321-4405 x2.
