This is especially the case when access rights to buildings or locations within buildings are more important than photo identification card. The benefits of proximity key fobs are many. Proximity fobs typically have a strong and somewhat flexible shell that makes them durable and resistant to cracking or breaking. Most proximity fobs are available in the following formats: 26-bit (H10301) – Customers are required to specify a facility code and card start number when this format is ordered and are responsible for all tracking and management of card numbers. 37-bit (H10302) - Customers are not required to provide a facility code or card start number when placing an order.
