They say all good things must come to an end. A handful of Evolis printers and parts will be bidding their fond farewells soon.
The Evolis brand recently announced that they are discontinuing production and distribution of printers and their respective parts for the following models:
- Tattoo1
- Pebble
- New Pebble
- Pebble3
- Dualys
- Dualys2
Although ribbons and other supplies will still be available in the foreseeable future, we suspect that Evolis will eventually discontinue these for the models listed above.
There's No Time Like the Present
Oftentimes, it's more cost effective to invest your money into a brand new ID card printer rather than putting money into an older model that's no longer compatible with newer operating systems. So right now might be the best time to start planning for an upgrade to a newer Evolis ID card printer.
