How do I know which supplies to use in my Matica EDIsecure ID card printer?

There are two ways to find genuine Matica EDIsecure ribbons and supplies for your specific EDIsecure printer model.

Do I really need a cleaning kit?

Yes, a cleaning kit is very important! Dust may be small, but it can cause so much damage to your Matica EDIsecure card printer. If small particles of dust and debris accumulate inside your printer, it could cause spots or specks to appear on your printed cards. Worse yet, it can damage the printhead which can cost hundreds of dollars to replace.

EDIsecure recommends that you clean your printer after each ribbon change. With this, you'll extend the life of your printer, keep your card printing costs down, and protect your printer warranty.

An added bonus, EDIsecure printer cleaning kits are inexpensive! Most are just a couple dollars a cleaning.

What is an extended warranty?

All Matica EDIsecure card printers come with a two- to three-year manufacturer warranty which covers parts and labor. ID Wholesaler extended warranty plan will lengthen that coverage for up to five years. The plans include toll-free technical support, live chat support, total parts and labor replacement, and fast turn-around on printer repairs and are serviced by our knowledgeable in-house technical support team.

Loaner coverage may also be an option for your EDIsecure printer. This is an especially good option for those who would be in a pinch without a printer for one to two weeks. These plans provide you with a loaner printer in the event your EDIsecure printer needs repair so that your card printing can continue uninterrupted!
